Prayer for Healing from Surgery

Prayer for Healing from Surgery

Heavenly Father.

You've heard our cry.  Lord as the doctors and loved one prepare for surgery, let Your peace flood their spirits to overflowing.

Release them from spirits of worry, fear, concern, anxiety, doubt, despair, apprehension and every related spirit of interference the enemy seeks to employ.

Let them be reminded that greater is Your Holy Spirit who indwells in them than all the cohorts and ploys of satan.

O pray therefore he/she sweetly surrenders to the tasks of the doctors and attending medical personnel, fully persuaded that You are ultimately in charge O God.

Invest Your wherewithal afresh in the surgeons to ensuring everything regarding this surgery is done decently and in order and according to Your sovereign will.

I speak Your unmerited favour - your grace - upon all of them and I declare success over this exercise in Jesus’ name.

Beyond this Father, I claim that the loved one will convalesce as You, God will dictate all for Your honour and glory.

I commit this request into Your hands Lord, fully persuaded that You are able to keep that which we commit and exceedingly abundantly above our asking or thinking.

I therefore thank You in faith for granting these requests for I ask them all in Jesus’ name.  Amen.
